Steps towards becoming a Entrepreneur: I studied tirelessly. You have to read and do the research necessary to learn your craft. There is a wealth of information out there from entrepreneurs and experts that can help you avoid the mistakes that many businesses and also individuals make on the road to success.

1- Name the top 3 goals you achieved?

#1. Completing my Undergrad degree
#2. Completing my Grad degree
#3. Starting my own apparel company

2- What inspired you to reach your goals?

I’ve always wanted to achieve whatever goals I’ve set for myself. I’m inspired by those that have physical and mental disabilities but still go on to achieve greatness and by those who are able-bodied that overcome significant obstacles to achieve a great goal.

3- How did you overcome obstacles to reaching your goals?

I sacrificed time spent hanging out with friends and with family to focus on specific goals that will help me become independent and in a better position to help friends and family in the future. It took long nights of reading and writing, studying, writing down my goals daily, weekly, monthly, and creating a daily agenda to make sure that I’m getting the most accomplished daily. It was also built off of a lot of PRAYER & meditation.

4- How do you keep your inspiration from decreasing?

You have to continue to find new challenges. Your success should provide a blueprint for others. You cannot be a one and done, you must clear a path for others to follow.

5- What 3 tips would you give a black or brown student struggling to reach their goals?

#1. Write your goals down, and each step needed to accomplish them.

#2. Check your list every day

#3. Visualize the work required to achieve your goals and mentally prepare yourself for sleepless nights and improve your focus by praying, reading, and meditation.
